Minimum Numbers

A minimum of three (3) passengers is required for a charter to proceed. Solo travellers are welcome but must cover the equivalent cost of three passengers.

Payment Policy

Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your charter reservation.

Cancellation Policy

• •Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to departure will incur a 50% booking fee.
• •No-shows or cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled departure are non-refundable.

Weather Conditions

Charters operate year-round, including public holidays, but are subject to weather conditions. Charters will only be cancelled if conditions are deemed unsafe by the skipper. In such cases, you may choose to reschedule or receive a full refund.

Liability

Lakes Charter Fishing, its employees, and volunteers accept no responsibility for any injury, loss, damage, or expense incurred during the charter. Participation is at your own risk.

Photography & Publicity

By joining a charter, you grant Lakes Charter Fishing permission to use photos and videos from the trip for promotional purposes without further compensation.

Punctuality

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled departure. Charters cannot wait for late arrivals, and missed departures are non-refundable.

Fishing License

All passengers must hold a current Victorian Recreational Fishing License prior to boarding. Licenses cannot be purchased onboard.

Client Conduct

Aggressive or abusive behavior, illegal drug use, or excessive intoxication will result in immediate termination of the charter without refund.

Medical Conditions

Please inform Lakes Charter Fishing of any medical conditions prior to departure. Failure to disclose relevant health information releases Lakes Charter Fishing from liability for any resulting incidents.

Damage & Loss

Clients are responsible for any damage or loss to equipment or property caused by negligence. Replacement costs may apply, up to $250 per item. Damage to the vessel will be charged at the cost of repair.

Skipper's Discretion

The skipper reserves the right to cancel or terminate a charter if conditions or passenger behavior are deemed unsafe or unsuitable. In such cases, a full refund will be provided.

Minimum Age

The minimum age for offshore charters is 12 years.

Bar Safety

If the Lakes Entrance Bar is assessed as unsafe, the skipper may cancel or terminate the trip for safety reasons. This may result in a rescheduled charter or a full refund.
